GLOBOCAM announces its newly appointed Board of Directors under the chairmanship of Claude Delâge

Montréal, April 23, 2025—GLOBOCAM, the largest network of heavy truck dealers in Québec, is pleased to announce the new composition of its Board of Directors. The Board welcomes new members: Ms. Claude Delâge as Chair of the Board, and Ms. Geneviève Tanguay, Mr. Roman Tomica, and Mr. Joel Bardier as Board members. Ms. Danièle Bergeron, Mr. Brad Thiessen and Mr. Serge Boyer are pursuing their mandates.

The new members’ extensive business acumen and rich professional experience will serve as valuable assets, complementing those of the current team. Their contributions will be instrumental in driving the ongoing growth and success of GLOBOCAM.

GLOBOCAM’s Board comprises seven Board Members from different business sectors.

 

Claude Delâge, Chair of the Board of Directors, has a prosperous career spanning over 35 years in banking, corporate finance and private equity, bringing cutting-edge expertise in governance and investment strategy. Before becoming a full-time independent director, she worked for major companies such as RBC, CIBC, Solidarity Fund QFL, Desjardins Capital and Siparex.

 

Serge Boyer, founder of GLOBOCAM, has gained valuable experience in various sectors, including administration and finance. He then worked in the trucking industry before founding GLOBOCAM. Under his leadership, the company has grown significantly, consolidating its position as market leader.

 

Geneviève Tanguay is a seasoned leader with over 25 years of experience. CEO of Anges Québec for four years, she steered the organization that works in venture capital, seed investment and support for innovation. Passionate about mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs, she has won numerous awards in the business world.

 

Brad Thiessen spent 20 years with Daimler Truck North America (DTNA), most notably as Vice President and General Manager. With a distinguished career spanning more than four decades in the trucking and transportation industry, he has earned a reputation for transformative leadership and operational excellence.

 

Danièle Bergeron is a certified corporate director with more than ten years’ experience in corporate governance and holds a certification in ESG and climate (GCB. D). Bergeron is renowned for her multidisciplinary expertise, having distinguished herself as CEO and COO in the manufacturing, food processing, distribution, commercial real estate and retail sectors.

 

Joel Bardier has expertise in corporate finance support. He has run two companies as CEO, one in industrial paint distribution and the other in software focused on automation and artificial intelligence, demonstrating his adeptness in logistics, commerce, and emerging technologies.

 

Roman Tomica has over 30 years of extensive experience in the commercial transport industry. He recently retired from senior management positions, including Chief Operating Officer at First Truck Centre for over ten years and Vice President of Sales at Velocity Truck Centres Canada, one of Canada’s largest heavy truck dealership groups.

GLOBOCAM was founded in Montreal, in 1994, and over the years has grown to become the largest network of heavy-duty truck dealers in Quebec. With a team of over 600 people working in 10 dealerships, this family-run business sells new Freightliner,  Western Star and Rizon trucks, used truck sales of all makes, as well as repair and complete maintenance of these vehicles. It also operates an extensive parts department, a body shop, and financing services.
